When my husband and I made the decision that we were ready to purchase our first house, we were excited yet very overwhelmed.  We had so many questions running through our minds.  In what area should we begin looking?  What can we afford?  What exactly do we want?  My husband and I knew that we needed help from a realtor.  A family friend recommended that we talk to Barbara Ryan.

Upon meeting her, my husband and I felt immediately at ease.  She listened to what we had to say and got straight to work.   Seeing that we had little experience in the home-buying process, she gave us a lot of valuable advice.  She spent a lot of time driving us around residential sections of the Greenville area, since we weren’t sure exactly where we wanted to reside.  Also, she recommended that we speak with a mortgage company to see what my husband and I could afford.   Once my husband and I decided which areas of town we liked, she lined up countless showings in our price range for us to see.  Finally, we found the house of our dreams; my husband and I knew this was the house we wanted.  Barbara helped us determine what price to offer to the seller.  After the offer was accepted, she helped us through every step of the closing process.  The closing couldn’t have gone any smoother!

Currently, my husband and I are enjoying settling down in our beautiful new home.  As I look back, I couldn’t be any happier with our home-buying experience.  We feel such gratitude to Barbara Ryan.  Her hard work and expertise helped use achieve our dream of homeownership!
